Adam Brent (b. 1973, Queens, NY) received his BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art and his MFA in sculpture from Parsons. His work has been exhibited at The Islip Art Museum, The Bronx Museum, The Aldrich Museum, Aljira Center for Contemporary Art, Artists Space, Apex Art, Margaret Thatcher Projects, Gathering of The Tribes, Wave Hill, and BRIC Rotunda and has received grants from the Brooklyn Art Council and the Foundation for Contemporary Art. He has had residencies at the AIM and Emerge programs and received critical attention from the Village Voice, L magazine and the New York Times.
